From the ferry terminal at Le Havre, the A131 road connects to Paris, while other motorways link with major cities and towns in France. The A55 takes you to the capital of Normandy, Rouen (85 km / 53 miles).

The SNCF train station is on Cours de la République and provides services all over France and onwards to Europe.


There are regional bus connections from the centre of town and a shuttle bus runs between the train station and the port. Other town buses marked 'Centre Ville' will take you into the central town area, which is a 10-minute journey. If your destination is Paris, then head along the A131 in the direction of the capital (200 km / 124 miles) and follow signs thereafter. The A55 road takes you to the capital of Normandy, Rouen, from where you will find link roads to all major and minor places in France and farther afield.
